NAACP Hammond to Host 2024 Freedom Luncheon

As the most important fundraiser of the year for the Hammond Branch, the 2024 Freedom Luncheon promises an afternoon filled with inspiration, entertainment, and recognition of community leaders. This year's keynote speaker is Shontrai D. Irving, President of the Indiana Lake County Bar Association. Brian Jackson, a distinguished Morning Show News Anchor at Fox 32 in Chicago, will emcee the luncheon. The legendary Billy Shelton and the Spaniels, renowned for their classic hit "Goodnight, Sweetheart," will provide musical entertainment.
