Visitors can explore 45 sites highlighting the city’s diverse culture and heritage, including art studios, historic locations, farms, and faith-based organizations. Highlights this year include going behind the scenes of the City's geothermal energy system at the Alexandra District Energy Utility; creating your own ceramic works at the Richmond Potters Club; and exploring the four-acre historic site of London Farm, which tells the story of farming in the city from 1880–1930. The Richmond Museum will also offer two themed bus tours: “Sacred Spaces” explores places of worship, and “Discover Doors Open” showcases three different curated partner sites each day. This year's program includes two new videos about Mary Point, a member of the Musqueam Indian Band, and her prominent family, and the Philippine Cultural Arts Society of British Columbia.
