Weihnachtsfest {German Christmas Festival}

The craft fair opens at 10:00 am and features holiday gifts, hand-crafted jewelry, wearing apparel and decorative items. A holiday Cookie Walk will feature home-made Christmas cookies including German specialties. German food (sauerbraten, bratwurst, schnitzel, potato pancakes, red cabbage, sauerkraut, and strudel) will be served beginning 11:30 am. Santa will arrive in a parade at 12:00 Noon in which civic organizations and businesses are invited to participate. Entertainment will be provided by the Millstadt Community Choir, Waterloo German Band and St. Louis German Cultural Society dancers. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for children to deliver their wish lists.
