Conductor Ed Jacobs has planned a splendid 2026 Summer Musical Celebration which coincides with the 250th anniversary of our nation. Uniquely American and richly diverse, the program features popular favorites and new discoveries from composers George Gershwin, Aaron Copland, John Philip Sousa, Duke Ellington and more. Enjoy Fanfare for the Common Man, Strike Up the Band, The Stars and Stripes Forever, Ashokan Farewell and a celebratory Armed Forces Salute. The Metropolitan Orchestra of St. Louis: A Webster Arts Fair tradition!
